Nick Hundley

Nick Hundley (head) sitting for Colorado, Ben Paulsen starting at first

Colorado Rockies catcher Nick Hundley (head) is out of the Rockies' lineup again on Friday as Colorado takes on the Chicago Cubs.

What It Means:

Hundley went through MLB's concussion protocol after taking a foul tip off his mask on Wednesday. It's unclear whether he's been cleared of concussion symptoms, but either way, he's sitting out a second straight game. Tony Wolters is getting another start behind the dish. The Rockies also have Ben Paulsen at first base, and Ryan Raburn in left field against the Cubs.

Hundley slashed .301/.339/.467 with 10 home runs in 389 plate appearances last season. His .348 wOBA ranked second among catchers with at least 350 plate appearances. We project similar numbers for Hundley in 2016, forecasting him for a .331 wOBA with 10 home runs across 385 plate appearances.
