Brandon Crawford leaves Giants' game early with hip flexor injury
San Francisco Giants short stop Brandon Crawford left Thursday's game against the Colorado Rockies with a hip flexor injury.
Ehire Adrianza replaced Crawford in the seventh inning but was forced from the game an inning later after fouling a ball off his left foot. Crawford considers himself questionable for Friday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. If Crawford sits, Kelby Tomlinson would likely start in his place with Joe Panik filling in at second base.
Entering today, Crawford had posted a .371 wOBA with two homers and a .267/.353/.500 slash across 34 plate appearances on the year. Our models project him to finish the year with a .330 wOBA and 21 jacks.
