Nationals put Jayson Werth, Michael Taylor on the bench Thursday
Washington Nationals outifleder Michael Taylor is not in the Nationals' starting lineup Thursday against the Braves.
Jayson Werth is also getting the day off versus Braves right-hander Julio Teheran. Chris Heisey will start in left field and lead off, and Matt den Dekker will play center field and bat seventh.
Taylor is hitting just .138 (4-for-29) this season. We project him to post a .267 wOBA with 10 bombs and 10 steals. We have Werth projected for a .316 wOBA and 16 home runs this season.
