Philadelphia Phillies relief pitcher Daniel Stumpf has been suspended 80 games after testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug.
Stumpf, a Rule 5 Draft selection from the Kansas City Royals this offseason, had made three appearances out of the Phillies' bullpen. He gave up a three-run homer to Cincinnati Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez in his MLB debut. It'll be a while before we see the 25-year-old lefty again.
He has a 40.50 ERA across 2/3 of an inning and five batters so far this season.
