San Diego Padres infielder Cory Spangenberg is batting second on Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Derek Norris hit there in Monday's opener but will drop to the fifth spot Tuesday versus Dodgers left-hander Scott Kazmir. Spangenberg had a big spring and could provide good value in DFS games when he bats high in the Padres' lineup. He's a borderline guy in season-long leagues.
Spangenberg went hitless with a strikeout in his three appearances at the plate in the opener on Monday. Our models project him to steal 13 bases this season while recording a .255/.313/.364 slash.
