Yordan Alvarez cleaning up for Astros versus White Sox
Houston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez is in the cleanup spot for Game 1 of the ALDS on Thursday afternoon against right-hander Lance Lynn and the Chicago White Sox.
Alvarez was held out of the final lineup of the regular season, but he is back in action for the start of the postseason. Jake Meyers is shifting to center field in place of an idle Chas McCormick. Kyle Tucker is hitting seventh after batting cleanup last game.
