Juan Lagares joining Angels' bench in Texas
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Juan Lagares is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Glenn Otto and the Texas Rangers.
Lagares went 2-for-4 with a single, a double, and a pair of RBI in Wednesday's win over the Rangers. Jose Rojas is replacing Lagares in right field and hitting sixth Thursday afternoon.
numberFire's models project Rojas for 11.5 FanDuel points and he has a $2,000 salary on Thursday's slate, making him our second-best point-per-dollar value among hitters. Ward is projected for 11.0 FanDuel points with a $2,700 salary. Otto is registering a 26.5 strikeout percentage and a 7.1 walk percentage across his first 21 1/3 innings in the majors.
