Phil Gosselin on Angels' bench Thursday afternoon
Los Angeles Angels infielder Phil Gosselin is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Glenn Otto and the Texas Rangers.
Taylor Ward is shifting to left field in place of Gosselin in Thursday's matinee. Brandon Marsh is returning to the lineup to play center field and bat leadoff. Shohei Ohtani is back in the two-hole for the Halos.
numberFire's models project Marsh for 9.3 FanDuel points and he has a $2,300 salary on Thursday's slate. Ward is projected for 11.0 FanDuel points with a $2,700 salary. Otto is registering a 26.5 strikeout percentage and a 7.1 walk percentage across his first 21 1/3 innings in the majors.
