Brandon Marsh on Angels' bench Wednesday
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Brandon Marsh is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against left-hander Taylor Hearn and the Texas Rangers.
The Angels appear to be giving Marsh a routine maintenance day as the regular season winds down. Taylor Ward is replacing Marsh in center field and hitting sixth. Shohei Ohtani is covering the leadoff spot. Phil Gosselin and Jack Mayfield are lined up second and third in the Angles' order, respectively.
numberFire’s models project Ward for 10.3 FanDuel points and he has a $2,400 salary on Wednesday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Angels have an implied total of 4.1 runs. Hearn is registering a 21.4 strikeout percentage and a 9.8 walk percentage this season.
