Houston Astros catcher Jason Castro is sitting Tuesday in the team's game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Castro is being replaced behind the plate by Martin Maldonado against Rays starter Michael Wacha.
In 166 plate appearances this season, Castro has a .209 batting average with a .718 OPS, 6 home runs, 19 runs and 16 RBI.
