Joc Pederson joining Braves' bench Tuesday
Atlanta Braves outfielder Joc Pederson is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Zack Wheeler and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Pederson went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk, and an additional run in Sunday's series finale with the San Diego Padres. He is taking a seat Tuesday while Adam Duvall returns to center field in place of Pederson and hits fifth.
numberFire’s models project Duvall for 12.5 FanDuel points and he has a $3,600 salary on Tuesday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Braves have an implied total of 3.9 runs. Wheeler is registering an xwOBA and an xERA that both rank in the top 7% of the league this season, with a 29.2 strikeout percentage and a 5.2 walk percentage.
