Jeff McNeil on Mets' bench Tuesday for afternoon game
New York Mets infielder Jeff McNeil is not in the starting lineup for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Miami Marlins.
Kevin Pillar is starting in left field over McNeil and hitting seventh versus Marlins right-hander Zach Thompson.
