Gavin Sheets sitting for White Sox versus Tigers
Chicago White Sox infielder Gavin Sheets is not in the starting lineup for Monday afternoon's makeup game against right-hander Matt Manning and the Detroit Tigers.

Sheets is out of the lineup for the second time in three games after he had started three straight. He should still see extended playing time as the White Sox wrap up the regular season and rest some regulars. Jose Abreu is on first base Monday over Sheets and Yasmani Grandal is at designated hitter. Zack Collins is catching Dallas Keuchel and hitting ninth.
