The Tampa Bay Rays did not include Mike Zunino in their lineup for Sunday's game against the Miami Marlins.
Zunino will take the afternoon off while Francisco Mejia takes over behind home plate and bats eighth.
Zunino has a career-best 32 home runs as the 2021 season winds down, batting .216 with a .865 OPS over 359 plate appearances.
