Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Ben Gamel is not starting in Thursday's lineup against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Gamel will rest against the Phillies after Yoshitomo Tsutsugo was named Thursday's starting right fielder.
Per Baseball Savant on 224 batted balls this season, Gamel has produced a 8% barrel rate and a .225 expected average.
