Tony Kemp taking seat Thursday for Oakland
Oakland Athletics left fielder/second baseman Tony Kemp is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Yusei Kikuchi and the Seattle Mariners.
Kemp is returning to the bench after covering left field on Wednesday. Mark Canha is moving to left while Chad Pinder returns to the lineup to play right field and hit seventh.
numberFire’s models project Canha for 10.3 FanDuel points and he has a $2,100 salary on Thursday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Athletics have an implied total of 4.3 runs. Kikuchi is registering a 24.6 strikeout percentage and an 8.9 walk percentage this season, with a 5.04 xERA and a .339 xwOBA.
