Houston Astros catcher Martin Maldonado is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Angels.
Maldonado will move to the bench on Wednesday with Jason Castro catching for right-hander Luis Garcia. Castro will bad seventh versus right-hander Janson Junk and the Angels.
