Charlie Culberson sitting Wednesday for Rangers
Texas Rangers infielder Charlie Culberson is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's series finale against right-hander Corey Kluber and the New York Yankees.
Culberson is taking a seat after starting the previous two games. Andy Ibanez is shifting to designated hitter in place of Culberson while Nate Lowe returns to the lineup to play first base and hit cleanup.
numberFire’s models project Lowe for 11.9 FanDuel points and he has a $3,200 salary on Wednesday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rangers have an implied total of 3.5 runs, which is third-lowest in the majors on Wednesday. Kluber is registering a 25.4 strikeout percentage and a 10.7 walk percentage this season, with a 4.16 xERA and a .311 xwOBA.
