Mariners' Abraham Toro absent from Tuesday lineup
Seattle Mariners infielder Abraham Toro is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against right-hander Paul Blackburn and the Oakland Athletics.
The Mariners appear to be giving Toro a routine breather. Dylan Moore is moving to second base while Jake Fraley is returning to the lineup to play left field and hit eighth.
numberFire’s models project Fraley for 8.5 and Moore for 8.6 FanDuel points, and they both have $2,200 salaries on Tuesday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mariners have an implied total of 4.0 runs. Blackburn is registering a 14.8 strikeout percentage and a 5.7 walk percentage this season, with a 5.36 xERA and a .348 xwOBA.
