Miami Marlins second baseman Joe Panik is not starting in Tuesday's lineup against the Washington Nationals.
Panik will rest on Tuesday evening after Jazz Chisholm was shifted to second base and Miguel Rojas was named Miami's starting shortstop.
According to Baseball Savant on 193 batted balls this season, Panik has produced a 1.6% barrel rate and a .233 expected average.
