Reds' Jose Barrero joining bench Tuesday
Cincinnati Reds infielder Jose Barrero is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against right-hander Mitch Keller and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Barrero is taking a seat after starting the last two games in center field for Cincinnati. T.J. Friedl is replacing Barrero in the field and hitting eighth Tuesday in his first start in the majors.
numberFire’s models project Friedl for 5.9 FanDuel points and he has a $2,000 salary on Tuesday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Reds have an implied total of 5.2 runs. Keller is registering a 20.7 strikeout percentage and a 10.0 walk percentage this season, with a 48.2% hard hit rate that ranks in the bottom 2% of the league.
