Seattle Mariners catcher Luis Torrens is not in the lineup Sunday in the team's game against the Kansas City Royals.
Torrens is being replaced at designated hitter by Mitch Haniger against Royals starter Jackson Kowar.
In 336 plate appearances this season, Torrens has a .236 batting average with a .727 OPS, 14 home runs, 35 runs and 41 RBI.
