Darin Ruf out of San Francisco's Saturday lineup against Atlanta
San Francisco Giants utility-man Darin Ruf is not starting in Saturday's contest against the Atlanta Braves.
What It Means:
Ruf will be kept on the Giants' bench after LaMonte Wade Jr. was moved to left field and Mike Yastrzemski was chosen as San Francisco's right fielder.
Per Baseball Savant on 165 batted balls this season, Ruf has produced a 13.3% barrel rate and a .260 expected average.
