Brandon Nimmo (hamstring) activated, starting for Mets Friday
New York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo is in the lineup Friday in the team's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Nimmo has been activated off the 10-day injured list from a hamstring strain. He'll get the nod in center field, batting second in the order against Phillies starter Zack Wheeler.
In 320 plate appearances this season, Nimmo has a .302 batting average with an .835 OPS, 5 home runs, 42 runs and 23 RBI.
