New York Mets outfielder Kevin Pillar is sitting Friday in the team's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Pillar is being replaced in center field by Brandon Nimmo against Phillies starter Zack Wheeler.
In 323 plate appearances this season, Pillar has a .222 batting average with a .680 OPS, 15 home runs, 39 runs and 43 RBI.
