Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Ben Gamel is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Miami Marlins.
Gamel will move to the bench on Friday with Anthony Alford starting in left field. Alford will bat seventh versus right-hander Elieser Hernandez and the Marlins.
