David Bote on Cubs' bench Thursday
Chicago Cubs infielder David Bote is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series finale against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Bote is getting a breather after starting the last three games. Matt Duffy is moving to second base and batting seventh. Patrick Wisdom is covering the hot corner while Ian Happ mans left field. Rafael Ortega is returning to the lineup to play center field and hit leadoff.
