Chicago White Sox infielder Yoan Moncada is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Alex Cobb and the Los Angeles Angels.
Moncada went 2-for-4 and hit his 12th homer of the season on Wednesday, but he appears to be receiving a maintenance day for Thursday's matinee. Romy Gonzalez is replacing Moncada on the hot corner and hitting seventh. Luis Robert is in the two-hole in place of Moncada.
numberFire’s models project Gonzalez for 4.9 FanDuel points and he has a $2,000 salary on Thursday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the White Sox have an implied total of 4.8 runs. Cobb is registering a 25.7 strikeout percentage and an 8.0 walk percentage this season, with a 3.86 xERA and a .300 xwOBA.
