Colorado Rockies first baseman C.J. Cron is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Ian Anderson and the Atlanta Braves.
The Rockies appear to be giving Cron a routine rest day. Rio Ruiz is replacing Cron on first base and batting seventh.
numberFire’s models project Ruiz for 6.9 FanDuel points and he has a $2,000 salary on Thursday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rockies have an implied total of 3.5 runs. Anderson is registering a 23.0 strikeout percentage and a 10.1 walk percentage this season, with a 4.38 xERA and a .318 xwOBA.
