Rockies' Colton Welker kept out of Thursday lineup
Colorado Rockies infielder Colton Welker is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Ian Anderson and the Atlanta Braves.
Welker is taking a seat after making his fourth start in six games on Wednesday. Ryan McMahon is returning to third base in place of Welker and batting cleanup. Trevor Story is batting third.
numberFire’s models project McMahon for 9.8 FanDuel points and he has a $3,300 salary on Thursday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rockies have an implied total of 3.5 runs. Anderson is registering a 23.0 strikeout percentage and a 10.1 walk percentage this season, with a 4.38 xERA and a .318 xwOBA.
