Minnesota Twins infielder Jorge Polanco is back in the starting lineup for Monday afternoon's game against rookie right-hander Luis Gil and the New York Yankees.
Polanco was held out of Sunday's lineup and he struck out as a pinch-hitter. He is serving as the Twins' designated hitter and batting third Monday afternoon. Miguel Sano is shifting back to first base in place of an idle Willians Astudillo and batting sixth.
