San Francisco Giants infielder/outfielder Austin Slater is starting Sunday in the team's game against the Chicago Cubs.
Slater is getting the nod in center field while batting leadoff against Cubs starter Justin Steele.
In 288 plate appearances this season, Slater has a .227 batting average with a .707 OPS, 10 home runs, 34 runs and 28 RBI.
