Jorge Alfaro joining Marlins' bench Thursday
Miami Marlins utility player Jorge Alfaro is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against right-hander Marcus Stroman and the New York Mets.
Alfaro started in left field on Wednesday and went 2-for-4. Bryan De La Cruz is moving to left field and hitting third in Thursday's contest. Magneuris Sierra is entering the lineup to start in center field and hit eighth. Sandy Leon is starting at catcher.
