Marlins' Jesus Aguilar scratched Tuesday, Eddy Alvarez added
Miami Marlins first baseman Jesus Aguilar has been scratched from Tuesday's lineup versus right-hander Carlos Carrasco and the New York Mets.
Aguilar was initially set to play first base and bat second. Eddy Alvarez has been added to the lineup to play second base and bat eighth in his first appearance of the season. Bryan De La Cruz has also been bumped up from fifth to second in the order.
Carrasco is registering a 23.1 strikeout percentage and a 4.1 walk percentage this season, with a 3.79 xERA and a .298 xwOBA.
