Royals' Tim Collins needs second Tommy John surgery
Kansas City Royals reliever Tim Collins needs a second Tommy John surgery.
Brutal news for the lefty, who was aiming to return from his first Tommy John surgery in early 2016. It's not clear when we might see him again. Collins, 26, is the owner of a 3.54 career major league ERA.
Collins last pitched in 2014, posting a 5.09 xFIP over 21 innings pitched. He owns a solid 24.1 strikeout percentage for his career, but his 13.3 career walk percentage is staggeringly high.
