The Boston Red Sox did not list Travis Shaw in their starting lineup for Monday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Shaw will take the afternoon off while Bobby Dalbec takes over at first base and Rafael Devers re-enters the lineup at third base and bats fifth.
Shaw is projected to make 41 more plate appearances this season, with 2 home runs, 5 runs, 5 RBI, and a .222 batting average.
