The New York Mets did not list J.D. Davis in their lineup for Sunday's game against the Washington Nationals.
Davis will take a seat Sunday while Francisco Lindor returns to the lineup at shortstop and Jonathan Villar takes over at second base.
Davis is projected for 41 more plate appearances this season, with 1 home run, 5 runs, 5 RBI, and a .243 batting average.
