Los Angeles Angels first baseman Jared Walsh is not starting in Saturday's game against the Texas Rangers.
Walsh will sit against his division competition after Phil Gosselin was moved to first base, Jack Mayfield was shifted to third, and Luis Rengifo was picked as Saturday's shortstop.
Per Baseball Savant on 306 batted balls this season, Walsh has produced a 11.8% barrel rate and a .253 expected average.
