Kansas City Royals infielder Adalberto Mondesi is not starting in Saturday's game against the Chicago White Sox.
Mondesi will receive a breather after Emmanuel Rivera was chosen as Kansas City's starting third baseman.
Per Baseball Savant on 31 batted balls this season, Mondesi has produced a 22.6% barrel rate and a .307 expected average.
