Jason Heyward joining Cubs' bench for Friday matinee
Chicago Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward is not in the starting lineup for Friday's matinee against left-hander Steven Brault and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Heyward is heading to the bench after going 0-for-4 on Thursday. Ian Happ is rotating over to right field and hitting fifth while Alfonso Rivas returns to the lineup to play left field and hit seventh.
