Kansas City Royals infielder Hanser Alberto is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series finale against right-hander Triston McKenzie and the Cleveland Indians.
Alberto made a start on Wednesday and went 1-for-3 with a stolen base. Emmanuel Rivera is returning to the lineup Thursday to play third base and bat ninth.
