Nationals' Alcides Escobar (knee) returning to lineup Thursday afternoon
Washington Nationals infielder Alcides Escobar (knee) is in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Aaron Nola and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Escobar was held out of the previous lineup with a knee problem. He is returning to shortstop and hitting second Thursday afternoon. Luis Garcia is shifting to second base in place of an idle Adrian Sanchez. Carter Kieboom is dropping down to hit seventh.
