Josh Rojas resting for Diamondbacks Tuesday night
Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Josh Rojas is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against left-hander Blake Snell and the San Diego Padres.
Rojas appears to be receiving a routine breather after starting the last nine games. Andy Young is replacing Rojas on second base and batting sixth, and Nick Ahmed is moving up to the top of the order.
numberFire’s models project Young for 9.9 FanDuel points and he has a $2,000 salary on Tuesday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Diamondbacks have an implied total of 3.6 runs. Snell is registering a 29.7 strikeout percentage and a 13.0 walk percentage this season (bottom 8% of the league), with a 5.36 xERA and a .349 xwOBA.
