Toronto Blue Jays infielder Santiago Espinal is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Detroit Tigers.
Espinal will move to the bench on Friday with Lourdes Gurriel starting in left field. Gurriel will bat sixth versus right-hander Matt Manning and the Tigers.
