Gregory Polanco grabbing seat for Pirates against Cardinals
Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against left-hander J.A. Happ and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Polanco went 3-for-5 with 2 RBI and a run scored in Thursday's series opener, but the left-handed hitter is taking a seat against the Cardinals' southpaw. Yoshi Tsutsugo is replacing Polanco in right field and hitting sixth.
numberFire’s models project Tsutsugo for 8.4 FanDuel points and he has a $2,400 salary on Friday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Pirates have an implied total of 3.9 runs. Happ is registering an 18.0 strikeout percentage and a 6.9 walk percentage this season, with a 5.62 xERA and a .356 xwOBA.
