Miami Marlins infielder Jazz Chisholm is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series finale against left-hander Patrick Corbin and the Washington Nationals.
Chisholm appears to be receiving a routine breather against a southpaw after he started the last five games. Miguel Rojas is replacing Chisholm at shortstop and the leadoff spot.
numberFire’s models project Rojas for 12.1 FanDuel points and he has a $2,700 salary on Thursday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Marlins have an implied total of 3.9 runs. Corbin is registering a 18.6 strikeout percentage and a 7.1 walk percentage this season, with a 5.73 xERA and a .359 xwOBA, the latter two of which both rank in the bottom ninth percentile of the league.
