Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Ben Gamel is not starting in Wednesday's lineup against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Gamel will rest on Wednesday after Gregory Polanco was announced as Pittsburgh's right fielder.
Per Baseball Savant on 173 batted balls this season, Gamel has produced a 8.1% barrel rate and a .227 expected average.
