Chicago White Sox infielder Danny Mendick is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against left-hander Robbie Ray and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Mendick made a fourth straight start on Tuesday and went 2-for-5 with an RBI. Tim Anderson (leg) is returning from a four-game absence on Wednesday to play shortstop and hit leadoff. Luis Robert is dropping to fifth in the order.
