Boston Red Sox infielder Bobby Dalbec is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Drew Rasmussen and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Dalbec went 2-for-3 with a triple, 5 RBI, a pair of runs scored, and a pair of walks Wednesday against the Rays. Marwin Gonzalez is moving to first base Thursday in place of Dalbec while Franchy Cordero enters the lineup to play left field and hit ninth.
numberFire’s models project Gonzalez for 6.7 FanDuel points and he has a $2,200 salary on Thursday’s slate. Cordero ($2,100) is projected for 7.1 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Red Sox's implied total is 5.5 runs, currently tied for the highest in the majors on Thursday. Rasmussen is registering a 29.2 strikeout percentage with an 11.1 walk percentage this season.
