Philadelphia Phillies relief pitcher David Hernandez (triceps) is scheduled to pitch in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Detroit Tigers.
Hernandez hasn't appeared in a Grapefruit League game since March 1 because of right triceps tendinitis, but he's been able to stay on pace on the minor league side of Phillies' camp. He's still in the running for the team's ninth-inning job, though Andrew Bailey might be the leader in the clubhouse right now.
In 2015 with the Arizona Diamondbacks, Hernandez had a 4.28 ERA (4.74 FIP) with a 22.9 percent strikeout rate and a 7.6 percent walk rate.
